Managing your events - Do you stumble from one task to the next? Do you miss urgent tasks because they weren't even on your radar? A well-run event hinges on having good knowledge of upcoming tasks, and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
We will meet with you either face-to-face (at Harmony Solutions), over the phone or via skype to discuss your event details. From this meeting we will produce an excel timeline chart that you will be able to use and update for your event. This chart will include monthly timelines colour coded for you to update as follows:
• due date/month,
• due date but completed early,
• not happening,
• due date but completed late,
An outcome of this $55 meeting will be a chart with the “due date/month” against each month up to your event will be filled in. After that, the changes/updates as per points above are up to you. You can even use this as a foundation for future events.
The timeline chart will cover areas such as:
• Preliminary planning (checking conflicting events, design/approve logo, source venues)
• Accommodation (selecting, reviewing, 90 day release…….)
• Merchandise (dates for sourcing, selecting, booking satchels, name badges……)
• Final preparation (run sheets, suppliers, VIP protocol, online survey, photographer….)
• Financial (budget setting, updating)
• Marketing (dates)
• Program (theme, outline, call for papers, invite speakers, chairs, audio visual)
• Publications (Registration open, brochure production, website, program brochure)
• Social program (develop, confirm, book……)
• Sponsorship & Trades (develop packages, sales, communication, signage, merchandise
• Exhibition (signage, layout, contractor selection)
• Study Tours (develop, confirm, complete, logistics)
• Venue (source, deposits, contracts, menus, allocate rooms…)
